Sodium Cyclamate (Ciclamato de Sodia)<\/span><\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sodium cyclamate is a \u201clow-calorie sweetener\u201d that is 30-50 times sweeter than sucrose.  Cyclamate is the sodium salt of cyclamic acid.  In chemical terms, it is known as \u2018sodium cyclohexylsufamate.  Its sweet taste was accidentally discovered by Michael Sveda, a student at University of Illinois in 1937.  Sodium Cyclamate is officially approved by the European Directive 94\/35\/EC, European number is E952.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saccharin + Cyclamate<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sodium cyclamate is often used synergistically with other artificial sweeteners, especially saccharin to mask the aftertaste of both sweeteners.  Our factories produce the mixture of cyclamate and saccharin at the ratio our customers request. Synergizing cyclamate and saccharin is also less expensive than most sweeteners, including sugar<\/p>\n\n\n\n
